Math Basics is another way of saying arithmetic. It includes adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing rational numbers. A rational number can be expressed as a fraction or decimal. A rational number is not an irrational number. A rational number is a number expressed as an integer over an integer (not zero). An integer is a positive or negative whole number. A whole number is a natural number or zero. A natural number is a counting number like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and so on.
